Upon arrival, just go to the ticket office with an identity document
and you will be given the free ski pass.

For children who are already 5 years old the ski pass is paying.
The instructor will advise you during the week if/when you need to buy a ski pass.

Does the beginner 6 day ski pass only include the easy bottom slopes?

Lift passes when purchased as part of a package with lessons are valid to use on all ski lifts and installations at all times both before, during and after courses.

The lift pass can also be used on all lifts even without ski equipment, for example to visit the glacier, ice caves , Pano bar, Venosc village as examples.
Why does the beginner ski pass cost less?

The 6 day beginner lift pass costs less as part of a package compared to the intermediate/ advanced package as it is an incentive for beginners to start learning.

A beginner will also consume less time on lifts than a more advanced skier.

The beginner ski pass lift passes are valid to use on all ski lifts and installations at all times both before, during and after courses.

The lift pass can also be used on all lifts even without ski equipment, for example to visit the glacier, ice caves , Pano bar, Venosc village as examples.
Do total beginners (ADULTS +13) have to purchase a 6 day Lift Pass?

Normally an adult beginner would not need a lift pass on the first day of skiing as we make use of the free lifts available on the base of the slopes.

On day two of lessons we would use the paying skiing lifts as we adapt to the progression of students on slightly steeper gradients.

From day two of lessons participants would require a full lift pass.

Our advice would be to purchase the 6 day lift pass as part of a package with lessons. You will benefit from a significant reduction on the price of the lift pass. (Equivalent to the cost of a 4 day Adult lift pass with the benefit of skiing 6 days)

Also with a 6 day lift pass you can benefit from using all lifts from day one, for example if you progress well or you want to visit the glacier or restaurants and bars further up the mountain.
Children complete beginners (6-12 yo). Should we purchase a 6 day lift pass?

Normally children beginners (ski & snowboard) would not need a lift pass on the first & second day of skiing as we make use of the free lifts available on the base of the slopes.

From day three of lessons children will normally have progressed onto the paying lifts on slightly steeper gradients.

From day three of lessons children will require a full resort lift pass to progress further up the mountain if necessary.

If you are planning on your children skiing for the full 6 days we highly recommend the purchase of the six day pass included in a package with lessons. The price of our 6 day pass purchased in a package is the equivalent to a 3 day pass purchased directly at the main ticket office.
Do little ones (4 & 5 yo) require a 6 day ski pass?

Little ones do not normally require a ski pass for the first 3 or 4 days skiing. Little ones start in the children's garden where a lit pass is not required.

Instructors will keep you informed in the eventuality they would like to progress further up the mountain. In this case they will advise you when and which lift pass to purchase.

For children that have not reached their fifth birthday a FREE LIFT PASS can be acquired with the presentation of proof of age at the main central ticket office.
Where do I pick up my lift pass purchased via the ski school?

Lift passes purchased as part of a package with the ski school should be collected from our office, preferably the evening before lessons are due to start, our office times are from 8.30 Am to 7.00 Pm.

Does the price of the lift pass & lessons include accident or liability insurance?

The cost of lift pass and lessons DOES NOT include accident or liability insurance.

We highly recommend the purchase of accident / Liability insurance that will cover first aid , medical expenses, mountain recovery etc.

Insurance can be added as an extra to the purchase of a six day lift pass at the main ticket office , however this must be done before the lift pass has been used for the first time.

The price is around € 3.50 per person per day.
Does insurance cover for loss of lessons and lift pass in the case of injury or illness?

Lift pass insurance purchased locally in Les Deux Alpes DOES NOT COVER in the event of loss of lessons and lift pass due to injury or illness.

Before the start of lessons make sure your personal holiday insurance covers you for loss of lessons and lift pass in the event of injury or illness.

The ski school can provide proof of loss of lessons and lost time on lift pass with a covering letter to be presented to your Insurance company with an accompanying doctors certificate.
