In normal snow conditions beginners will not need a lift pass on the first day of lessons.
From day 2 of lessons most beginners will need a full resort lift pass to access the necessary gradient of slope to allow further learning and progression.
Our advice would be to purchase the six day lift pass as part of a package with snowboard lessons at the start of the week. You will benefit from a significant reduction on the price of the lift pass. (Equivalent to the cost of a 4 day adult lift pass purchased directly at the main central ticket office )
A full lift pass can also be used on all lifts and at all times even without ski/ snowboard equipment, for example to visit the glacier, ice caves , Pano bar, Venosc village as examples.
As a ski school we are only authorised to promote and provide lift passes as part of a package for 6 day courses. (For more information on three day passes contact us by email)
Lift passes are valid to use on all ski lifts and installations at all times both before, during and after courses.
The lift pass can also be used on all lifts even without ski equipment, for example to visit the glacier, ice caves , Pano bar, Venosc village as examples.
The cost of lift pass and lessons DOES NOT include accident or liability insurance.
We highly recommend the purchase of accident / Liability insurance that will cover first aid , medical expenses, mountain recovery etc.
Insurance can be added as an extra to the purchase of a six day lift pass at the main ticket office, however this must be done before the lift pass has been used for the first time.
The price is around € 3.50 per person per day.
Lift pass insurance purchased locally in Les Deux Alpes DOES NOT COVER in the event of loss of lessons and lift pass due to injury or illness.
Before the start of lessons make sure your personal holiday insurance covers you for loss of lessons and lift pass in the event of injury or illness.
The ski school can provide proof of loss of lessons and lost time on lift pass with a covering letter to be presented to your insurance company with an accompanying doctor's certificate.
