The Ski School has priority access for all ski lifts.
You can also form your own group, of up to 8 people for the same lesson. It is strongly advised to have the same (or similar) level (no more than one level difference).

No, the cost of a Private lesson does not include the lift pass. If you are an intermediate or advanced skier you should purchase a full resort lift pass before the lessons start. This will avoid wasting any time when you meet your instructor.
If you are a total beginner then you will probably not require a lift pass for the first 2 or 3 hours of lessons as the instructor will make use of the free ski lifts at the base of the resort. Usually after 3 hrs you will probably need a lift pass to access lifts and slopes of a slightly steeper gradient
Children of 4/5 years old will not require a lift pass for the first few lessons the instructor will keep you informed if you need to have a lift pass to progress further up the mountain
For children that have not reached their fifth Birthday a FREE LIFT PASS can be acquired with the presentation of proof of age at the main central ticket office.
We recommend that adults and children take private lessons separately as the methods and progression and technical input for adults can differ from that for children.
Adults and children learn differently, children's lessons will be based on fun, where games and intuitive skills will be taught. Teaching Adults requires a more rational, technical, informative approach.
Children also tend to pay more attention and listen to the instructor more attentively if they are alone with the instructor.
The best results for learning are when adults and children are taught separately.
However if you would like to ski as a family together the instructor will adapt his skills to ensuring you have a positive learning experience. Tips, skills and personalized feedback can be delivered to each member of the group whilst making sure the social aspect of the guiding /teaching suits your requirements.
We recommend that levels should be as similar as possible to make the most of a shared private lesson.
Yes, you can purchase a six day lift pass together in a package with private lessons, if you take at least five days of private lessons.
The cost of lift pass and lessons DOES NOT include accident or liability insurance.
We highly recommend the purchase of accident / Liability insurance that will cover first aid , medical expenses, mountain recovery etc.
Insurance can be added as an extra to the purchase of a six day lift pass at the main ticket office , however this must be done before the lift pass has been used for the first time.
The price is around € 3.50 per person per day.
Lift pass insurance purchased locally in Les Deux Alpes DOES NOT COVER in the event of loss of lessons and lift pass due to injury or illness.
Before the start of lessons make sure your personal holiday insurance covers you for loss of lessons and lift pass in the event of injury or illness.
The ski school can provide proof of loss of lessons and lost time on lift pass with a covering letter to be presented to your insurance company with an accompanying doctors certificate.
